Comments:
This story, which takes place on February 23, 1942, is continued from All-Star Squadron #33 and continues in All-Star Squadron #35.
Synopsis:
Johnny Quick and Neptune Perkins discover a Japanese submarine off the coast of California, but they are captured. Firebrand returns to the mainland to warn Liberty Belle and Starman about a coming attack. The heroes prevent the attack from succeeding and destroy the sub, but they are caught in an explosion, leaving Liberty Belle and an unconscious Johnny Quick at the mercy of Tsunmai.
On Earth-X, the Freedom Fighters attempt to free Hourman and stop Baron Blitzkrieg, but they too are defeated and captured. Red Bee is presumed dead.
