Comments:
This issue is labeled as an Invasion Aftermath Extra.
The final panel of this story depicts the detonation of the gene bomb and leads into Invasion #3.
Starfire is mistakenly depicted in Starman's recollections of the super-hero group that liberated Australia. She was in deep space with the Teen Titans at the time of the invasion at could not have been present.
Synopsis:
Starman helps rescue and cleanup efforts in Sydney following the defeat of the alien invasion force. He meets several other heroes and is surprised when Green Lantern knows who he is. After the cleanup, he hitches a ride from Blue Beetle back to Arizona.
Will Payton begins telling his sister about his adventures. However, a news report showing the Power Elite gets his attention. He immediately heads to Utah to confront the team that attacked and kidnapped him before the invasion began. This time Starman is prepared for the group and is beating them. However, the fight is interrupted by an explosion of black light.
