Synopsis:
Batman delivers a book to Superman which was recovered along with some stolen art pieces in Gotham City. The book, which is magical in nature, details the history of the Silver Banshee. Coincidentally, at that moment, Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen are in Ireland seeking answers to the mystery of the Banshee. They are taken prisoner by Seamus and Bevan McDougal, the Banshee's uncle and brother.
Superman makes a trip across the Atlantic. He carries the book with him. As he grows closer to Castle Broen where Lois and Jimmy are captives, the Silver Banshee grows stronger. Eventually Superman makes it to the castle and rescues his friends.
The Silver Banshee tries to take back the book which will free her from a curse. Superman refuses to let it go. An ancient woman who gave the Banshee her power then appears. She turns the book to dust and destroys the castle. Superman and his friends escape, but the McDougal clan is no more.
