Comments:
The Blackhawks begin using new aliases in this story. Blackhawk calls himself Big Eye, Chuck is the Listener, and Hendrickson is Weapons-Master.
This story is continued from Blackhawk #228 and continues in Blackhawk #230.
Synopsis:
After his team fails a test for the government, Blackhawk asks for another chance. His request is granted, so the team returns to Blackhawk Island to train. Meanwhile agents of an international spy organization led by the Emperor target the Blackhawks.
G.E.O.R.G.E. learns of the threat and moves in to prtoect the team. When they reach Blackhawk Island it is deserted. The Emperor's agents also find the Blackhawks missing which creates a two-way search.
The Blackhawks have split up and adopted new identities. Hendrickson runs a gun shop using the name the Weapons-Master. He receives a message from Chuck, now the Listener, warning him of an attack. He stops his attackers then contacts Blackhawk, alias Big Eye. The three Blackhawks then begin their own search for their other teammates to warn them of danger.
