Synopsis:
Martin Lockleed is murdered by the followers of the Faceless One. Following his death, his son Homer inherits his company. However, Homer is mentally unstable, so Heinrich Megala is appointed caretaker until Homer recovers. Megala finds the stealthray research initiated by Alec Rios and resumes experiments with the help of Captain Atom. Nathaniel is also dealing with the news that his daughter Peggy and his best friend Jeff Goslin have gotten engaged.
The followers of the Faceless One track down Megala and press him to continue his experiments which can restore Rios from the quantum field. Another dose of Captain Atom's power is enough to bring Rios back in the form of the Ghost. He then escapes.
