Synopsis:
Metamorpho approaches Doc Magnus for help in curing his condition as the Element Man. Doc sends the Metal Men to gather materials necessary to complete the cure. While gathering snake venom, Lead is attacked by Professor Kurt Borian. Borian implants a device in Lead that will give him control of the Metal Men.
Magnus succeeds in restoring Rex Mason to normal, but Borian turns the Metal Men against the two men. The evil scientist then plans to go after Simon Stagg. With Sapphire possibly in danger, Rex asks Doc to change him back into Metamorpho. The Element Man then battles the Metal Men. When the device inside Lead is destroyed, the Metal Men return to Doc's control. Doc's cure can not be redone, so Metamorpho remains in the form of Element Man.
