Synopsis:
Tired of fighting robot menaces, the Metal Men seek out real criminals to battle. They travel to different cities around the country, but when the find crooks they are upstaged by other heroes including Flash, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Discouraged, the Metal Men return home.
A crook in a stolen armored car then approaches Metal Men headquarters. The robots try to stop the crook, Professor Bravo, but face off against Bravo's Plastic Gang instead. The team fails to stop the plastic men as a group and individually, so Gold and Tina research plastics in the library. Their research shows that plastic has a low boiling point, so they pour boiling liquid on the gang to destroy them. Once the Plastic Gang is defeated, the Metal Men apprehend Professor Bravo.
