Synopsis:
Five Justice League members and five ordinary humans find themselves afflicted with similar maladies. The Atom and a baseball player shrink against their wills, Hawkman and actress Gloria Kaye become tremendously heavy, Flash and a young man can only run in place, Superman and a delivery boy lose their strength, and Batman and a juggler lose their coordination. Tracing a peculiar radiation responsible for their dilemma, the super-heroes meet at the headquarters of Brain Storm, a scientist who has mastered the energy of the stars and used it against them. He now paralyzes them to serve as witnesses to his execution of the man he believes responsible for the murder of his brother, a small-time crook.
The Justice League members find that, due to an unknown side-effect of the villain's powers, they are able to teleport the five ordinary humans to Brain Storm's base to help them escape. After a pitched battle with the animated creations of Brain Storm, they discover that the accused killer is Green Lantern.
When GL is allowed to tell his side of the story, though, it is revealed that yet another side-effect of Brain Storm's stellar power had caused his brother to vanish. Green Lantern causes the brother to reappear, but Brain Storm escapes by teleportation.
