Part 2: "The Magic of Bat-Mite and Mr. Mxyzptlk"
Synopsis:
Two super-powered youths, Force Boy and Speed Kid, show off their powers at the Daily Planet. Superman is puzzled by their sudden appearance and summons Batman to help solve the mystery. Working together the heroes try to uncover the secret of the two boys, while preventing damage from their pranks. Each of their theories is disproven as the boys are not androids, Kryptonians, or time-travelers.
When the boys appear in a ship full of robotic creatures, it appears to the heroes that they may be aliens. However, while battling the robots, Batman realizes that the small ship could not hold such large creations. He deduces that the boys are using magic, so they must be Mxyzptlk and Bat-Mite.
With their secret exposed, the imps reveal themselves. Bat-Mite explains that he bet Mxyzptlk that Batman would solve the mystery. Mxyzptlk concedes defeat and returns to his own dimension.
