Lois is given Superman Money good for a super-marriage. Though she wants to marry the Man of Steel, she doesn't want to trick him. She tries to get Mxyzptlk to say his name backwards, but she fails. She then redeems her money to prevent Superman from redeeming another super-marriage.
Mxyzptlk thinks that he has succeeding in wedding Lois and the Man of Steel. Then Lana Lang arrives with Superman Money for a super-divorce. Mxyzptlk reads the bill, which contains his name backwards, aloud. The imp is returned to his own dimension, and the Superman Money vanishes. Superman points out that since he never signed a marriage license, he and Lois are not married.
