Synopsis:
On Thanagar, Hawkman and Hawkgirl report to Andar Pul with the results of their study of Earth police methods. Hawkman then relates his use of Earth methods in his competition with his wife, who used Thanagarian devices to see who could first solve the theft of the Black Pearls of Oahu from the Midway City Museum. Each had been able to track thief Hal Parker to a nearby woodland hunting area, but Hawkgirl's trail disappeared due to weather conditions. Hawkman found the crooks, deduced the pearls' location, and caught the thieves, bringing them in long before Hawkgirl came upon the crime scene.
The Earth methods are judged superior, and the pair are given permission to return to Earth to continue their study.
