Synopsis:
Superboy confronts Bully Hines who has recently stolen a shipment of platinum. Bully will not reveal the location of the loot, so Superboy threatens to sink his yacht with a meteor. However, the meteor strikes Superboy and causes him to lose his powers.

Bully is about to kill Superboy, but the Boy of Steel convinces the crook to let him work for the gang. Criminal scientist, Professor Winslow, offers to help him get his powers back. A powerless Superboy then helps Bully outwit the rival Chopper Gang.

When Winslow's machine requires platinum, Bully reveals the location of the stolen loot. Superboy then apprhends the gang and recovers the platinum. He explains that he never really lost his powers and was faking in order to find the stolen metal.
