Synopsis:
A brilliant science professor spends his time trying to build a machine that can predict the future. Johnny Quick believes the professor's talents are being wasted. He resolves to get the professor to give up his obsession.

Johnny travels one day into the future and reads a newspaper. Then he returns and forces the professor's machine to predict the correct events. When the professor attempts to cash in on the machine's predictions, Johnny ensures that he can't profit despite the correct predictions. Eventually the professor gives up and devotes himself to a career in electronics.
