Synopsis:
Johnny plans to stake out a rajah's yacht that he suspects will be robbed by a pirate named Peters. However, his boss assigns him to investigate another pirate story down the coast. Johnny follows orders and discovers an 18th century pirate vessel. He damages the ship, but then learns it is run by a wealthy man, Cyrus Crane, who is pretending to be Captain Kidd.

Crane forces Johnny to work for him in order to pay for the damages. He makes Johnny track down a pirate treasure, but it also delays him from protecting the yacht. Johnny succeeds in finding the treasure, then he returns in time to stop the real pirates from robbing the rajah's yacht.
