Synopsis:
Smallville plans to honor a good samaritan. The town votes on who they think should win the award. Superboy declines the honor believing it should go to someone else. However, many of the entries vote for him anyway.
When Superboy begins reading some of the stories he discovers that he was not responsible for the good deeds reported. He investigates several stories and learns that Smallville has a secret good samaritan that is purposefully giving credit to Superboy. Further investigation reveals that Thad Becker, the postmaster, is responsible.
Becker is outwardly surly, but has a heart of gold. He doesn't want anyone to know, so he made sure that Superboy got credit for his good deeds. Superboy finally arranges for Becker to receive the credit he deserves.
