Synopsis:
Dr. Aubrey Barth and Professor Havens Homer create a sphere that allows Smallville residents to communicate with their dead relatives. When Clark Kent enters the sphere, he sees the ghost of his father Jor-El. However, Superboy soon discovers that the ghosts are a hoax. The inventors are using it to rob the townspeople.

By planting luminous paint, they have been able to learn when Superboy is using his x-ray vision. In doing so, they think they have learned that Superboy is Joe Spencer. By threatening to reveal his secret, the crooks hope that Superboy will not interfere. However, the crooks are wrong about his identity. Superboy is able to stop them and shut down their scheme.
