Synopsis:
Green Lantern finally gets around to investigating odd objects he has found stuck to his uniform at various times. His power ring reveals the objects originated in the 58th century. Seeking to learn the truth GL uses his ring to travel into the future where he is reunited with Chairman Dasor and Iona Vane. His arrival is timely since a criminal called Dr. Strangehate is trying to overthrow the Solar Council. GL defeats the crook.
After the battle Iona and Dasor restore GL's memories of his previous trips into the future. Dr. Strangehate was created as a side-effect of these travels and the power ring. He is really Pol Manning, a fictitious identity created for GL, while he was in the 58th century. Manning summons a Neoman created into an evolutionary experiment to free him and kidnap Iona.
Green Lantern tracks down Manning, who has created an army of Neomen. Green Lantern stops them and ends Manning's experiments. Since Manning's creation was partly his own responsibility, GL ensures that he is reformed and the evil is removed from his personality. GL then returns to his own time, retaining the knowledge of his life in the future.
