Synopsis:
The Blackhawks encounter Mr. Beam, a crook with a gun that overcomes all the Blackhawks except Chop Chop. Blackhawk deduces the gun is based on the color blue, so gives everyone a green uniform to use during the next encounter.

When the green-clad Blackhawks attack Mr. Beam, the gun causes them to float in the air. Blackhawk realizes the gun can be modified to affect any color.

In their final encounter each Blackhawk wears a different color uniform. Mr. Beam is able to change which color the gun affects and stop several of the team. Blackhawk covers his own outfit in black oil. The black color is immune to the beam, allowing Blackhawk to capture the crook.
