Synopsis:
A series of bizarre robberies are committed by an invisible bandit. While escaping from one robbery, the phantom protects the Blackhawks from danger. When the phantom appears again, Blackhawk uses fluorescent paint to reveal the location of the invisible bandit. The team then captures their foe.

The phantom explains that he is Homer Jenkins and was forced into crime by a man known as the Ray. The Blackhawks track the Ray to an island where they fall victim to invisible traps. Jenkins has followed them and rescues the team. The Ray is defeated, and Jenkins's visibility is restored.
