Synopsis:
While visiting a small european town, the Blackhawks encounter a giant meancing the village. The giant falls unconscious when passes a small gold vein and a historian explains that the giant had been held in suspended animation inside a mountain by a golden egg. A thief has now stolen the egg and awakened the giant. Blackhawk locates the thief, but the giant dies of a plague before the golden egg can be used to return him to suspended animation.
