Synopsis:
The Blackhawks interrupt a robbery by the costumed crook known as the Planner. The crook escapes, but the Blackhawks are able to capture his helmet which projects cubes of black light. They take the helmet back to Blackhawk Island without knowing that the Planner left the helmet for them to find. He activates the helmet by remote control. The helmet's power activates the weapons in the Blackhawk trophy room.
The Blackhawks are unable to stop the weapons from wrecking the island. The War Wheel damages an underground cell in which a monster dwells. The monster escapes. It destroys the weapons, then follows the helmet's signal back to the mainland and the Planner.
The Blackhawks are unable to contain the beast, but just as they are about to be killed, two aliens arrive. The monster is stopped by the aliens who had given it to the Blackhawks for safekeeping. With the monster back in the custody of the aliens, the threat is ended.
