Comments:
This story is presented as "An Untold Story of Superboy".
Synopsis:
Superboy uses his mind-prober ray to learn more about his life on Krypton. He learns that Jor-El built a teleporter ray which caused the object teleported to explode. Young Kal-El turns the machine on himself by mistake and is teleported to Krypton’s Scarlet Jungle. Fortunately he does not explode because of the short distance which he was transported.
Kal-El is nearly attacked by a jungle creature which displays its thoughts through a thought-screen on its head. After a series of encounters with other jungle creatures, Kal is returned to Jor-El’s laboratory when Krypto accidentally triggers the machine to return him. Jor-El and Lara were never aware of their son’s trip to the jungle.
