Pete Ross reveals to his parents that Clark Kent is Superboy in this story.
Synopsis:
Superboy pretends that he and Krypto are killed by members of the Superboy Revenge Squad and bequeaths his career to Pete Ross. Pete accepts the role and is given super-powers, which he uses to defend Smallville. The real Superboy, in his Clark Kent guise, keeps a eye on Pete to see if he will be a worthy successor. Unknown to Clark, Pete knows his secret identity, but this time Pete believes that Clark is merely a robot, and the real Superboy is dead.
Pete decides to build a tomb to bury Superboy in, so he constructs a pyramid. To prevent the Phantom Zone criminals from desecrating the grave, Pete changes the stone to Kryptonite, endangering the still living Boy of Steel. Though he learns that Superboy is still alive, it comes too late as most of his powers have worn off. So to save his friend, Pete uses the Clark Kent robot to perform the rescue.
