Synopsis:
When Krypto panics at the sight of a tiny insect, Superboy uses a machine to retrieve Krypto's buried memories to find the source of his fear. Superboy and Krypto view a memory in which Jor-El recounts tales of Krypto's ancestors. Krypto's father Zypto, Nypto his grandfather, and Vypto his great-grandfather were all heroes in their own day. Vypto however saw a picture created by his artist owner of a frightening creature. Jor-El had shown the picture to young Krypto, who was equally frightened. The insect which frightened Krypto earlier resembled the creature and triggered the fear response.
