This story was originally titled "The Ghost of Jor-El".
Synopsis:
A mischievious imp named Mxyzptlk from the 5th dimension, crosses over into our universe when he runs away from his parents. Mxyzptlk meets Superboy and decides to play a prank on him by making him a laughingstock. Superboy thwarts Mxyzptlk’s attempts, so Mxyzptlk creates a Jor-El ghost to convince Superboy to leave Earth. Superboy realizes the ghost is fake because Mxyzptlk is color-blind and has reversed the red and green in Jor-El’s outfit. Fuzastl, Mxyzptlk’s father, sends a message telling Superboy how to send his son home. The Boy of Steel tricks Mxyzptlk into saying his name backwards, sending him home and starting a feud between the two which will last for years.
