Synopsis:
Lois Lane becomes the temporary owner of a mynah bird. When the bird sees a peacock feather it magically becomes an oracle that can answer three questions for Lois. Lois wastes the first two questions testing the bird, then accidentally asks what will happen to her in three days. The bird doesn't answer right away, so Lois uses a tape recorder. Later when Lois listens to the tape, she learns the bird has predicted she will die.

Lois begins taking dangerous risks without fear. She believes that she will survive three more days. Finally, on the day the bird predicted Lois is kidnapped by a gangster. To disguise her the gangster uses hair dye on Lois. Their car then crashes.

Two days later Lois awakens in the hospital. She doesn't understand why the bird's prediction failed. Then she learns that the birds prediction was merely interrupted. The full prediction was that Lois would "dye her hair", not "die."
