Synopsis:
Intercrime, an international criminal organization, offers a two million dollar reward for killing Superman. Dr. Kane, a ruthless scientist, wants the reward himself, so he develops Project Green, a method of replacing his own blood with liquid Kryptonite.
Dr. Kane, now calling himself Dr. Kryptonite, harasses Superman causing the Man of Steel to fail in his attempts to stop Intercrime operations. Dr. Kryptonite then captures Krypto and uses him to lead Superman into a trap.
It appears that Kane will succeed in killing the Man of Steel. However, aliens from the vegetation world of Flordis land on Earth. Since Kane's skin has been turned green by the Kryptonite, the aliens believe that the crook is their missing captive king. The aliens kidnap Kane and take him back to their homeworld. Superman and Krypto are thus spared from their impending demise.
