Synopsis:
When a space probe returns to Earth after landing on a remote planet, it contains a stowaway energy being. The being leaves the probe and takes over the body of Lois Lane. Possessed, Lois is forced to create a power source to recharge the being. However, when she ascended up a mountain, the altitude forces the creature from her body.
Lois returns to the Daily Planet with no memory of her possession. The energy creature follows her invisibly. When Lois produces a photograph of the space probe which reveals the presence of the creature, it takes over Clark Kent's body. As Clark, the creature destroys the picture, and eventually discovers that Clark is Superman.
When the creature forces Superman to fly, he gains altitude and is forced from the Man of Steel's body. Superman and Lois realize that they were possessed, so Superman creates a trap in his Fortress. When the creature tries to retake Superman's body, Superman tricks him into entering a specially made puppet from which the energy being cannot escape. Superman then sends the puppet into the Phantom Zone.
