Synopsis:
Hal Jordan attends a family reunion at the home of his millionaire uncle Titus. Doug Jordan, a distant cousin from Tennessee arrives. Sue Jordan worries that the black sheep of the family is planning to rob Titus. She believes her husband Jim is Green Lantern and forces him to put on a costume and look for trouble.
Jim begins searching the area for crooks. Doug, who was indeed intending to rob the mansion, spots Jim and knocks him out. He then takes Jim to the Black Scooter Gang in order to become a member.
When Hal learns that Jim and Doug are missing from the party, he becomes Green Lantern. He tracks down Jim and rescues him from the gang. Jim asks that Green Lantern return to the party with him to prove to Sue that he is not really GL. Hal makes the promise, but does not wear his costume back to the house. Unaware of his brother's secret, Jim wonders why GL never showed up. Sue remains convinced that Jim is Green Lantern.
