Synopsis:
Tourists are stranded in the Austrian Alps after their tour bus breaks down in the town of Brahaven. The town has a wishing well which is said to grant second lives to those who toss in a coin. A musician tosses in a coin and wishes he was somewhere where no human voice was heard. He then finds himself on a plane which crashes in a remote location. His only company is a group of monks who have taken a vow of silence.

A gypsy wishing for a life of wealth throws a coin into the well. He gets the life he wants where his very touch turns things into gold. However, when he falls off a ship into the ocean, he turns the very water around him into gold and drowns.

A gambler tosses in two coins to get two chances at another life. He finds himself in front of a firing squad. When he uses his second chance, he is turned into a wolf. The wolf is then hunted down and killed.

After each of the three men see their fates, they are returned to the first life. Heinrich Von Krupt watches them. He is a Nazi war criminal. When agents hunting him close in, he takes a chance on the well. It doesn't work for him, and he accidentally falls into the well and dies. The Mad Mod Witch reveals that the coin Von Krupt uses was counterfeit, so the well did not work.
