Synopsis:
Green Lantern’s friend Pieface records the emerald gladiator’s latest adventure in his case-book. It begins when Hal Jordan is assigned to deliver a missile part to Cape Canaveral. He charges his power ring at two o’clock and then jets to his destination.
When he arrives, Hal meets Dr. Deaton and delivers the part. He agrees to stay and watch the liftoff. While waiting, he is taken to Rocket City, a nearby community which has been plagued by the Rocket Robbers. The Robbers coincide their robberies with the missile launches because everyone is watching the sky instead of them. Hal also realizes it is two o’clock, and his ring is now out of charge.
When the rocket is launched, the crooks stage another robbery. Hal spots them and switches to Green Lantern in an attempt to stop them. Unable to use his ring against the crooks, Green Lantern uses his fists to stop them. Just as one of the goons tries to shoot him, Hal instinctively uses the power ring. He discovers that the ring does indeed work, so he finishes off the Robbers. When he returns to the Ferris hangar, he discovers that the clock which read two o’clock, when he was charging the ring, has stopped working, which means his ring still used just twenty four hours of power as always.
