Synopsis:
The Chief prepares a new body for Robotman. He decides to take a break from the procedure, leaving Cliff's disembodied brain in a tank. After the Chief leaves, the new robot body comes to life on its own due to a faulty responometer. It then tries to kill Cliff in order to secure its own independence.
Meanwhile, the Brain and Mallah infiltrate Doom Patrol headquarters. Mallah fights the robot body and wins. He then implants the Brain into the body. The two declare their love for one another. Unbeknownst to either, the sentient robot rigged his body to explode if it was tampered with. The Brain and Mallah are apparently killed in the ensuing blast. Cliff's brain remains in a tank and could not witness what happened.
