Comments:
This story is continued from the first story of Strange Adventures #9.

Synopsis:
The Earth is threatened by several giant tops that are quickly destroying the atmosphere. Even the most powerful Earth weapons are unable to stop the tops. Captain Comet traces the alien weapons to a ship hiding behind the moon. He builds his own space ship and intercepts the alien ship.

Once inside the ship, Captain Comet discovers a race of aliens in suspended animation. Their leader Harun awakens from slumber and explains that his own world was ravaged by quakes, so his people are now seeking another world on which to live. He challenges Captain Comet to a mental duel for possession of the Earth. Harun loses, then discovers his people are dead. The alien then kills himself too.

Captain Comet stops the deadly tops. Then the computer's aboard Harun's ship pilot it away from Earth. Captain Comet returns home and is hailed as a hero.
