Synopsis:
Captain Comet pilots his ship into the atmosphere to protect Earth from the poisonous gases of a passing comet. Unknown to Comet, the comet contains a group of alien invaders who use a device to wipe out Captain Comet's memory. They then trick him into helping them with their plan to conquer Earth.

However, Captain Comet resumes his Adam Blake identity and forgets that he has super powers. When Adam hears the news that the Earth is being invaded he puts on his Captain Comet costume, but believes he is an imposter not the real hero.

Adam then goes after the aliens who try to stop him by using the memory device on him again. The second dosage restores all of Captain Comet's memories. Comet then defeats the aliens and issues a bulletin to the world telling them that the invaders have been stopped.
