Synopsis:
Captain Comet travels into space aboard his ship the Cometeer. He reaches a distant solar system that has a pulsating star. He lands on a diamond shaped planet called Hyperba to observe the star and is met by Radea, a woman like him that is an evolutionary mutant.
Radea rescues Captain Comet from the Green Ones, an evil race. She then explains that their sun is dying and must be kept alive via manned missiles that explode and reignite the star each cycle. Chadro, the leader of Hyperba, tricks Captain Comet into piloting the latest missile with Radea also onboard. Comet discovers that the missiles do not need a pilot, and Chadro is using them to eliminate his enemies. Captain Comet and Radea escape their doom, return to Hyperba, and overthrow Chadro. Radea becomes the new leader of her planet, and Captain Comet returns to Earth.
