Synopsis:
After tiring of K-rations Sarge takes Gunner on patrol in an attempt to raid enemy food supplies. While they fail to retrieve any food, Gunner and Sarge succeed in taking out an enemy position. Sarge then goes after some bird eggs, but an enemy attack breaks the eggs.

Sarge becomes discouraged by the lack of quality food. He and Gunner remain behind, while the rest of their unit proceeds on a mission. Then an enemy attack occurs from behind leaving them to defend themselves alone. Sarge is wounded, so Gunner prepares to lob grenades at the attackers. He is then hit too, but Sarge is able to throw the iron eggs at the enemy saving them both.
