Synopsis:
Carter and Shiera witness a murder at the Merry Merry Club committed by a old man carrying a scythe. The old man calling himself Father Time is a scientist who was mocked for his outlandish theories. He invented a formula to give himself ultimate wisdom. Now he is using his wits to blackmail the wealthy.

When Carter Hall is made Father Time's next target, he consults his bird friends. Hawkman tracks down the scientist, but he is captured. Father Time then attempts to kill Carter Hall, but he finds Shiera instead. Hawkman escapes in time to save his lover from a poison dart that would have killed her.
