Synopsis:
Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson travel back in time five centuries to investigate the rumor that a Batman existed in Milan. They soon meet Leonardo Da Vinci, who shows them his great works. Leonardo is at odds with Gian Trivulao, a cruel dictator. Batman helps Leonardo to publicly humiliate Gian. In the process Leonardo uses a flying machine of his own invention. Men who see him believe they see a "batman" who uses magic. With Leonardo safely away to Florence, Bruce and Dick return to their own time with an explanation for the "Batman" existing in Milan.
