Kyser is being watched closely and cannot contact the police, so he sends a morse code S-O-S in his music which Batman detects.
Batman then appears as a guest on Kyser's show. He compete against one of Bancroft's men to whom the gangster was trying to pass a message. With Robin's help, Batman wins the musical trivia competition and learns where Bancroft has stashed the loot from his robbery.
