Synopsis:
The Flash is contacted by a Guardian of the Universe and informed that Green Lantern is missing. Before he can aid in the search, Flash encounters a gang of bandits using futuristic weapons. The gang manages to use one of their weapons to put Flash to sleep and escape.

Flash returns home after awakening. While watching television, he sees Hal Jordan on a fishing boat. Flash tracks down the boat and finds Hal who has amnesia. Flash helps Hal locate his power battery. When Hal recharges his power ring, his memory is restored.

Before they can investigate the cause of GL’s amnesia, they receive a report about the gang. Working together the two heroes defeat the crooks and trace the weapons back to Hjalmar Helms a scientist. Helms created the weapons, but the crooks stole them. GL deduces that somehow the weapons tapped in to the power battery and had been responsible for his memory loss.
