Synopsis:
After placing Prof is cryogenic storage, the remaining Challengers seek help for their friend. However, the bridge has been washed out for the storm. The Challengers and Corinna Stark return to her home and fall victim to a trap set by her father. Red is caught. Then a lightning bolt strikes the generator causing an explosion. Red is set free in the blast, but Algernon Stark and Prof's cryogenic chamber have disappeared.

The Challengers seek him out near the abandoned Lovecraft house. The see that Algernon has been captured by the Cult of Chu. Their leader then kills him. Corinna plunges into danger after seeing her father die. She, Rocky, and Ace are captured, but Red flees.

The captured Challengers learn that Chu, the cult leader, is an alien plant creature. He plans to drain the life force of humans in order to restore his people to life. Red arrives in time to save his friends. They destroy the Togga, but Chu escapes. The Challs also discover Prof's cryogenic chamber, but it is empty.
