This story is continued from Challengers of the Unknown #70.

Synopsis:
Following their battle with Chu, the Challengers locate Prof on the side of the road. Chu has cured him, but also instilled a hatred for mankind within him. Prof atacks his teammates, but Rocky knocks him out. During the fight Red is blinded in an explosion.

Ace, Rocky, and Corinna Stark try to find help for Red and Prof in a small Skull Mountain village. They are turned away by the mayor, then captured. Chu has formed an alliance with Granny Dark, a local witch woman. She has forced the townspeople to help her and Chu.

The Challs are rescued by the timely arrival of Tino Manarry. Tino's shared vision with Red alerted him to the danger. He received help from his fans in locating the Challengers on Skull Mountain. Chu is finally defeated, but the town mayor dies in the fight. As a dying request, he offers to allow Red to receive his eyes after his death. The Challs then bring Red and Prof to the hospital for help.
