Synopsis:
After helping one of the last French towns resist a Nazi invasion, the Blackhawks head to Switzerland to track down a lead on Professor Merson. Once they locate the bank where Merson keeps his account, they are able to trace the inventor's location. Chuck then constructs a glider that allows a single plane to approach and avoid the exploding bats that Merson uses as aerial defense. Chop Chop pilots the plane and drop a motor into Merson's stronghold. The bats follow the motor and drive Merson outside where the Blackhawks capture him.
Following the mission, Chop Chop requests and is granted a leave of absence from the team in order to return to China and defend his own country from the Japanese.
