Synopsis:
Zatara is attacked in his hotel room by a gorilla. The magician escapes, then learns from scientist Ivan Meldoff that Herbert Handers is responsible. Handers has created a process to transfer human brains into gorillas and making them his slaves. Handers has been using his gorilla army for crime.

Zatara and Meldoff track Handers to a hidden city in Mexico. There, Zatara finds several gorilla slaves and human captives. He frees the men, then destroys the city. Handers and his gorillas are killed in the blast.
