Synopsis:
Swamp Thing is drawn to the town of Pineboro by his psychic link to Casey. Liz Tremayne is in town covering the capture of a child killer Barney Stryker. Barney is possessed by a demon with which he struck a deal. Barney, the host of a children's program gained confidence and success, while the demon killed children. With Barney's capture, the demon leaves his body, then possesses Liz's producer Paul. The demon then captures Casey, just as Swamp Thing arrives on the scene. Swamp Thing saves Casey by convincing the demon to possess his body. Then before the demon can strike, Swamp Thing places himself into a freezer. The demon is destroyed, but Swamp Thing is immobilized. Liz Tremayne sends him to her employer, the Sunderland Corporation, for study.
