Synopsis:
Wes Dodds and Dian Belmont attend the opera where they witness Alma Decker booed off the stage. Alma later explains that she is a victim of a racketeering scheme. The crooks threatened to ruin her career if she did not pay. When she refused, the racketeers booed, ruining her performance.

Sandman gets involved in the case and confronts the racketeers. The crooks decide that Alma has brought them trouble, so they attempt to eliminate her. Sandman stops the attempted murder, then learns the identity of the racket boss. He then returns to the opera house where he exposes the manager as the head of the racketeering ring.
