Synopsis:
The Warlord meets in Shamballah with the council of elders. He conceives a plan to rescue Tara and lift the siege which threatens the city. First he rides out into the field to meet with the Theran commander Kaatar Shang. They agree to a fight of single combat. Shang selects a four-armed champion named Brador to face Morgan.
As the fight begins, Brador gets the upper hand. Morgan is unable to strike even a single blow. However, the Warlord is intentionally not fighting back. He had enlisted a group of Shamballah warriors to swim through some Atlantean tunnels to get outside the city. When they are in place, a flaming arrow is shot into the sky. Morgan sees it and changes his tactics. He easily kills Brador, just as the army from Shamballah attacks from outside and from within the city.
Kaatar realizes that his prisoner is Tara the queen and tries to take her hostage, but the rifle he took from Morgan is out of power. The Warlord shoots him dead. A huge battle ensues with the Theran army caught between two forces.
On the battlefield the Warlord is berserk and nearly kills a surrendering foe. Tara stays his hand. Morgan realizes the Hellfire sword is fueling his bloolust. He throws the blade into the water where a magical hand reaches out to grab it and take it below. Morgan's soul is secure.
After the battle Morgan enjoys a single night of happiness and celebration. Aton then arrives with news that Jennifer Morgan's yacht has crashed. Disappointed that he can not stay with Tara, he reluctantly rides out in the morning to find his daughter.
