Synopsis:
The battle between Arion and Garn Daanuth on Anuleous has awakened a glowing sphere of energy. Daanuth is forced to flee, but Arion is strangely drawn toward the energy. He eventually touches it and is embraced by it. The energy reveals itself as a living entity and claims Arion is its son.
Garn returns to Earth where Chian and Wyynde are battling sub-men and protecting Arion's physical form. Garn seizes the opportunity and enters Arion's body. Using magic he strikes at the sub-men forcing them to break off the attack. Chian and Wyynde are confused, but after Garn kisses Chian, she knows that Arion's spirit is no longer in possession of his form.
Elsewhere in the chamber of the Oracle. Caculha seeks to aid Arion. Tynan claims that doing so will disrupt the balance. Caculha disregards the warning and leaves to help his former apprentice. Choloh the chronicler tells Tynan that Caculha's actions were fated to be.
