Synopsis:
Still in the past age of wizard kings, Travis Morgan bids farewell to his friends. He then steps through the magic mirror with Jennifer and Shakira to return to modern day Skartaris. Jennifer returns safely to Castle Deimos, but her father and Shakira have disappeared.
The Warlord and Shakira awaken on a rocky shoreline. Morgan recognizes the city as Sydney Australia. They are in the outside world. However, the city seems deserted. They eventually cross paths with three people who try to attack them. Morgan scares them away and takes their guns. He gives it to Shakira.
Morgan speculates that they arrived in the future after a nuclear war. He suspects most of the people were wiped out by radiation. He then concocts a plan to return to Skartaris through the opening in Antarctica. He and Shakira begin their trek south where they find a farm and a woman with a gun.
