Synopsis:
Soon after the Warlord and Tara are reunited in the secret weapons cache near New Atlantis, they discover a hooded man living inside. The man is revealed to be Dr. Reno Franklin.
After Morgan was sent back to his own time from the distant era of Atlantis, Franklin and his men from the future intermingled with the Atlanteans. While his people grew old and eventually died, Franklin did not age. He eventually withdrew from society and began living in the weapons cache which had unique chronal properties including giving him the ability to travel through time.
After catching up with Franklin, Morgan and Tara depart for Shamballah, only to run directly into a battle at sea.
Meanwhile back on the mainland of Skartaris, Tinder has gone missing. He helped an ape-like creature escape from a giant spider. Jennifer Morgan and her friends continue to search for him.
